EmBe Bringing Babysitting Camp to Mitchell

/, School Age Care, Youth/EmBe Bringing Babysitting Camp to Mitchell

After years of honing and perfecting their popular Babysitting Camp, EmBe is bringing their program to Mitchell for the first time. The camp will take place December 27 at LB Williams school.

EmBe uses the national curriculum from “Smart Kids: Babysitting 101” to guide campers on being an entrepreneur, developing people skills, and building confidence!

Babysitting is needed more now than in the past due to more parents working outside the home and for longer hours. Babysitting offers teens and tweens flexibility so they can still make it to soccer, SAT prep or go on a family vacation. This day camp gives girls and boys ages 10 – 14 hands on training with the children in our childcare center. That unique experience makes EmBe’s babysitter training unlike any other!

Other skills taught:

  • child safety
  • age appropriate toys and foods
  • diapering babies
  • CPR and first aid basics (this camp does not CPR certify, just teaches basics)

Our Mitchel Babysitting Camp is being offered at just $26.63 per participant (tax included) and includes a camp t-shirt, travel bag to take to babysitting jobs, first aid kit and a snack during camp. Parents must provide a lunch for the camper.
