With a growing swim community in Sioux Falls, EmBe is meeting those needs by introducing a non-competitive swim league.

Led by Ryan Fischer, who has eighteen years of aquatics experience, the team will enhance the physical and mental fitness of all children 6-18 years of age. The swim team will work on teamwork, sportsmanship, and correct stroke techniques, to develop positive attitudes and self-esteem.

OBJECTIVES

Offer a recreational cardiovascular exercise for families that only want recreational.
Promote team building and build endurance using a baseline for each child.
Provide basic fitness swimming skills, personal water safety, and diving skills.
Provide a safe, fun, and positive atmosphere experience for all.
Provide opportunities for participants to develop swimming skills through organized training and self-discipline.

PRE-REQUISITES

6-8 years of age must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle.
9-18 years of age must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle with rotary breathing.
Participants must provide their own swimsuits/jammers and goggles.
