Celebrating a Century of Youth Development

Our legacy of providing fun and meaningful activities began in the 1920s. Over the years, we’ve watched children grow through our programs, camps, and recreational sports. Our programs help children gain confidence, develop new friendships, and learn valuable lessons in teamwork and responsibility.

FIRST® LEGO® League

FIRST® LEGO® League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children grades 1-9 through fun, exciting hands-on learning.

Girls on the Run®

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and Olympic sport which strives to teach courtesy, self control, integrity, perseverance and strong spirit.

This 5-day camp for kids ages 9 to 12 years old, focuses on various art forms and gives kids the chance to learn new techniques.

Camp GOTR

During the 5-day camp, rising 3rd – 5th-grade girls will enjoy interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts.

Junior Lifeguard Camp

Junior Lifeguarding camp includes an introduction to first aid, CPR, and AED skills, hands-on training from head guards and managers and participants will shadow lifeguards at the Sioux Falls City pools.

Financial Assistance

EmBe meets the individual needs of women and their families through financial assistance. We work with those in challenging financial situations who cannot afford the full cost of EmBe memberships and programs. We make EmBe programs accessible for all.
