Camp GOTR combines everything that makes the Girls on the Run program effective with all the camp fun!

During the 4-day camp, rising 3rd – 5th-grade girls will enjoy building friendships and learning life skills that include interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts and crafts and storytelling.

Open to girls entering 3rd through 5th grade in 2023-2024 academic year. All girls are invited to participate in Camp GOTR regardless of whether or not they have participated in Girls on the Run during the school year.

Dates: June 26 -29, 2023
Time: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Location: McKennan Park & EmBe Downtown
In the mornings, we will be at McKennan Park for our GOTR activities. In the afternoons, we will move to EmBe Downtown for our Robotics Camp. Transportation between the park and EmBe Downtown is provide by our camp staff.
Price: $173.06 (includes sales tax)

This summer, we will be using the Girls Have Heart curriculum. Throughout the week, girls will have fun exploring friendships designed to discover what makes them a good friend and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will move, build, create, write, discuss, connect and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates.

During our afternoon sessions, after all our running, the girls will be participating in our Robotic Innovation Camp. This camp will use LEGO robots to teach girls programming and engineering skills. The girls will work in teams to make their robots adapt to new situations. This camp is inspired by FIRST LEGO League Challenge.

Location: Salem Park, Spearfish
Price: $79.88 (includes sales tax)

This summer, we will be using the Girls Have Power curriculum. Throughout the week, girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive games such as “Emotion Detective”, building workshops, creative skits and more!

Dates: July 10 – 14, 2023
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Watertown Boys & Girls Club
Price: $26.63 (includes sales tax).
Funding has been provided by the Watertown United Way to support this camp. The Watertown Camp GOTR is open to girls entering 3rd through 6th grade in 2023-2024 academic year.
