EmBe received a grant from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Council of $3,600 to support scholarships for girls to participate in Girls on the Run at Hayward and Lowell Elementaries in our spring 2018 season and Terry Redlin Elementary in our fall 2018 season. The Council's Initiative is to promote philanthropy "for youth - by youth" and their purpose is to enable their students to make a difference in the lives of young people in the Sioux Falls area. Early on Saturday, February 2nd, I had my first taste of the state competition for FIRST® LEGO® League. The combination of robots, funny hats and coopertition© brought teams from across the state to Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
