EmBe has accepted participants for its 17-month 2019 Women’s Leadership Program beginning January of 2019. With more than 200 past participants, the 2019 class benefits from eight years of programming experience and community involvement. The applicants for the program represent a broad range of career paths and are chosen by committee to ensure that in addition to the leadership education, the connections that are made throughout the 17-month program will also enhance all the attendee’s experience.
Erin Bosch, Director of Women’s Programming said, “The focus of the Women’s Leadership Program is to use the personal experiences and skills of volunteer mentors to educate and inspire the participants. During a retreat and six sessions, the participants will develop a development plan that includes personal and professional goals and ways to achieve them. In May, a mentor will be matched with the participant to support and guide her through the implementation of her plan during the next year.”
