EmBe gathered representatives of nearly a dozen workplace networks to share their insights about women supporting each other at work. These 40 women represented a range of careers, experiences and levels of leadership, ultimately answering a resounding “yes” when asked if additional meetings should be convened. Led by Erin Bosch, Executive Director of Women’s Programming at EmBe, the World Café-style conversation harvested perspectives about the benefits of women networking at work, how it works best, and how women can positively impact the region. 2019 Women’s Leadership Program Participants Announced

EmBe has accepted participants for its 17-month 2019 Women’s Leadership Program beginning January of 2019. With more than 200 past participants, the 2019 class benefits from eight years of programming experience and community involvement. The applicants for the program represent a broad range of career paths and are chosen by committee to ensure that in addition to the leadership education, the connections that are made throughout the 17-month program will also enhance all the attendee's experience. Since it’s inception in 2011, EmBe’s Women’s Leadership Program has led more than 200 women reach their greatest potential. This incredible program, facilitates the development of emerging female professionals by utilizing the experiences and skills of established community leaders; to extend a hand-up to the women who will follow. EmBe’s continued growth is rooted in programming. Whether it’s the addition of a new school site for our Girls on the Run program, the addition of our Girls’ Makers Day event to expose more girls to STEAM career fields, or the expansion of our Women’s Leadership Program to Rapid City, our programs and the people that champion them, make our growth possible.
