As EmBe moves into its next 100 years, we recognize that our service to the community has evolved since our founding in 1921. As we continue our empowering work, guided by our strategic goals, we are making some adjustments. This year, EmBe’s Spinsters dance will be discontinued and replaced by an event focused on a family audience. Moving forward we will introduce new programming and events that advance our transformational goals in service to the community. We honor the ways Spinsters has impacted the community and look forward to building on the legacy in new, impactful ways.
The COVID-19 pandemic impacts our community more and more each day. Suspending program offerings and decreasing demand for childcare are impacting our organization. We ask you to consider a donation to EmBe so that we can respond to urgent community needs like childcare scholarships and employment resources. Click here to learn more about how you can help.

While EmBe’s childcare operation is reopening with limited services on March 30, EmBe’s offices are closed.
