International author, Psychologist and Founder of womensimpact.org and FLAW Club, Cris Linnares has been a passionate advocate for women’s wellness and empowerment for more than 20 years.

This proud messy mom was selected by Glamour magazine as a Women of the Year Award in a special edition recognizing 50 Hometown Heroes of the United States. Her life story and acclaimed wellness program Diva Dance® have been featured in Shape, Marie Claire, and Women’s Health. You can find her hilarious and powerful message shared in two TEDx talks.

Brazilian by birth, American by choice and an international citizen by nature, Linnares said “tchau” to her passionate culture and successful career as a best-selling women’s author in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to marry her “Midwest Prince Charming” and move to the tundra of Fargo, N.D. (Loca?! You Betcha!)

Feeling like a frozen fish-out-of-water and married to a wonderful a man whose definition of romance was to take the trash out (Don’t worry - he learned!); she faced major culture shock, depression and weight battles.

Experiencing the hardships that come from lack of connections, in 2011, she founded the nonprofit Women’s Impact to create opportunities for women to connect and empower each other.
Today, through her books, workshops, coaching and non-profit, she has been inspiring women and teams all over the world, so together, we can become a more powerful force to make an impact in our world.
