The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a free book gifting program sponsored by the United Way and EmBe.

The program provides a free book each month to children from birth through five years of age. Inspired by her father who was unable to read or write, Dolly Parton began this program in 1995 to encourage a love of reading.

Today, it has grown to become the largest children’s literacy program in the world. To sign-up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, visit their website.

Can you empower women and families with a donation?

The COVID-19 pandemic impacts our community more and more each day. Suspending program offerings and decreasing demand for childcare are impacting our organization. We ask you to consider a donation to EmBe so that we can respond to urgent community needs like childcare scholarships and employment resources. Click here to learn more about how you can help.
